If you don’t like to (or don’t know how to) swim, there are other ways to firm breast muscle. Alternating pull-ups and push ups will strengthen the pectorals and give you buff arms along the way. Most of us don’t have a pull up bar in our home but you can solve that by going to a playground and using some of the equipment there (monkey bars work especially well).
